The Glasgow Canal Festival is a one-day annual event delivered by the Glasgow Canal Co-operative, a newly established co-operative of organisations based in the North Glasgow canal area. July 2020 will see the delivery of the fourth Glasgow Canal Festival, celebrating the community, assets, activity and heritage associated with the stretch of the Forth & Clyde Canal between Port Dundas and Firhill Basin.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual who will build on the existing successful format of the event, working with the Festival Steering group to develop a programme of engaging events and activities under the festival’s key event programming pillars; arts, heritage, environment and watersports.
This position will have the support of an Event Production Manager, in addition to other operational and front of house staff and volunteers which will be recruited in the lead up to the event.
